  Unfortunately, I must rate this shop/ customer service as 1 star. If there was the option to give none at all, I would.
  I travelled 80km (two-way) to this store in 39 degree heat as they had stated that their store was open online. However, when I arrived I found that they had a sign in the window which stated that they open on Saturday at 10am. I located the owner's phone number on the awning of the shopfront and decided it was best to send them a message advising that they should change the information online so that others are not inconvenienced like myself. The response I received asserted that the situation was my own fault, as I had failed to call them so they could come by and open the store.
  I have been buying antiques for a considerable amount of time now, and yes, some retailers operate by appointment although they do explicitly state this on their front door. I did receive a typical 'sorry for any inconvenience' but I don't believe at all that they are sorry as they had spent some time pointing out what I had done wrong before they even responded with an apology.
  I don't make a habit of being unreasonable, but this store owner has quite a complex. You cannot expect your customers to be telepathic- you need to work on your communication skills and most attention is needed to customer care (i.e. it's not just about the money- you can't make any if people are put off by the idea of doing business with you). What Imperfect Perfections did today will not be forgotten- the way they handled the situation was disgusting and I will never go back.
  By the way, the owner's smarty pants attitude is not an attribute I would be proud of, but good on you for trying to be a grown up.
